Activity source guide

Connect Strava to My-Sports-Challenge

Compatible with Strava. My-Sports-Challenge can import eligible activities into the challenges you participate in. It is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Strava.

Setup steps

  1. 1. Prepare Strava

Create or use your Strava account and record activities in Strava. Strava's privacy settings determine which activities are available to an authorized connection.

  2. 2. Open your MSC profile

Sign in to My-Sports-Challenge, open Profile, and find the Strava connection card. Choose public activities or public and private activities.

  3. 3. Authorize the connection

Select Connect with Strava and review the permissions on Strava. After authorization, you return to My-Sports-Challenge with the connection active.

  4. 4. Check your challenge

With the Compatible with Strava connection active, an activity is imported when its sport type is mapped by the organizer and its date is eligible for the challenge. The original activity stays in Strava; disconnecting stops future imports but keeps its existing MSC copies.

Good to know: Strava remains the source of the activity date, time, and metrics. You can control GPS sharing in your MSC profile, and your own imported activities include a link back to Strava.

For Strava account privacy settings, use Strava's official Privacy Controls guide.
